Building Evacuated in Millidgeville

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at approximately 10:12 a.m., the Saint John Police Force, in collaboration with officials from Franchophone South School District, began the process of evacuating the Samuel de Champlain School/ Centre scolaire Samuel-de-Champlain, and the other amenities housed within that building on Ragged Point Road. It was reported that:

-A threat had been made against the school.

-The entire building was evacuated while police and staff canvassed the building for any threat.

-Police cleared the scene at approximately 2:35 p.m.
