Drugs And Weapons Taken Off Saint John Streets

A warrant executed Thursday afternoon April-8-2021 in the North End of Saint John has resulted in a large quantity of drugs being removed from city streets.

Officers from the Saint John Police Force Street Crime Unit, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force and the Emergency Tactical Squad seized what is believed to be a large quantity of crystal meth, cocaine and prescription pills. Also seized were several weapons and a large quantity of cash.

5 people were taken into custody. 2 are facing several charges with court appearances pending. 3 have been released with no charges.

The investigation continues.
