Man Arrested for Firearm Offenses

The Saint John Police Force has arrested a 33-year-old man following a disturbance. It was reported that:

-On Friday, October 15th, 2021, at approximately 3:01 a.m., the Saint John Police Force responded to a 911 call of a disturbance to a residence on the east side of Saint John.

-Members of the patrol division were investigating the complaint when a 33-year-old man returned to the residence in a truck.

-It was discovered he was in possession of a long gun and ammunition.

The man was arrested for firearm related offenses and breach of a court order to have no contact with a resident of the home.

The accused remains in custody and will appear in court on Friday, October 15, 2021.
