Motor Vehicle Collision - Fairville Boulevard/Bleury Street

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit is investigating a motor vehicle collision involving life-threatening injuries.

It is reported that:

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, at approximately 8:22 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Fairville Boulevard and Bleury Street.

It was reported that a pickup truck was travelling east on Fairville Boulevard straight through the intersection and collided with a sedan that was travelling west on Fairville Boulevard turning left in the intersection onto Bleury Street.

An 18-year-old man and driver of the sedan sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital where he remains in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit, Forensic Services and Accident Reconstruction were called to investigate.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
