National Volunteer Week - April 24-30, 2022

VSU Team

The Saint John Police celebrates the profound impact that our volunteers have on the community we serve. We would like to thank the following volunteers for their service to the Saint John Police and the citizens of Saint John:

  • Our Victim Services team members provide 24/7 critical support for those impacted by traumatic events in their life. These dedicated and selfless individuals volunteer their time to be available at a moment’s notice in times of crisis.
  • Auxiliary Police Officers volunteer their time by providing operational support to our frontline members in patrol services and support us with various community events and initiatives.
  • Our Peer Support team members volunteer their time to ensure that the mental health and wellness of our own officers and support staff are never forgotten. They constantly check in with our members and provide support, particularly after responding to traumatic events.
  • Our friends at the Saint John Police Museum volunteer their time to honour and share the rich history of the Saint John Police Force as one of the oldest police forces in Canada.
  • And, of course, we recognize our current and retired members and staff that have volunteered countless hours of their own time to make Saint John a better place to live and play.

Please join us in showing appreciation for the empathy, compassion and generosity of all volunteers who work to make our community stronger.

Together a safe, secure, healthy community.
