National Volunteer Week Saluted By Saint John Police Force

Set aside for those who go above and beyond in their communities, the SJPF is proud to recognize National Volunteer Week April 18-24-2021. “It is hard to imagine some of the service the Saint John Police Force provides to the community without the work of our volunteers,” says Deputy Chief Tony Hayes.

“From our Victim Services Unit, Auxiliary Force Members and those who take care of the day to day operations at the SJPF Museum, the resilience and skillset of our volunteers ensures the SJPF is there beyond the initial call for service and honor the current and retired membership,” adds Deputy Hayes.

The theme for the week of recognition is, “Value of One, The Power of Many,” which certainly speaks volumes to the dedication and work volunteers with the SJPF have and continue provide. COVID-19 has certainly elevated the amount of effort put forth by all volunteers in our community and for that, the SJPF says thank you.
