Public Presentations to SJ Board of Police Commissioners

The Saint John Board of Police Commissioners is responsible, under the Police Act, to provide and maintain an adequate police force for the Citizens of Saint John. It advises Common Council accordingly, in order to allow it to allocate the necessary funding for the operation of Force.

The Board would like to remind the public that they are welcome to make presentations at Commission meetings. Any person or group should submit their request to appear in writing, addressed to the Chair, prior to 4:00 pm on the Thursday preceding the scheduled monthly Commission meeting. The Board of Police Commissioners meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, except for the month of July where it is the third Tuesday. There is no scheduled meeting in the month of August.

All requests to appear before the Commission will be included on the agenda of the next monthly regular meeting. Written submissions are to be addressed to:
