South End Call Results in Arrest

A 32-year-old man has been taken into custody for firearm related offenses.

It was reported that:

On Thursday, October 14th, 2021, at approximately 7:21 p.m., the Saint John Police Force responded to a 911 call of a man pointing a shotgun out the window of a south end residence in Saint John.

Members of the patrol division responded and arrested a 32-year-old man for firearms related offenses.

The Major Crime Unit subsequently executed a search warrant and located a shotgun and ammunition.

The accused remains in custody, will appear in court on Friday, October 15th, 2021.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred to come forward.
