Update: Break and Enter Investigation Thorne Avenue

The Saint John Police continues to seek the public’s assistance in an on-going break and enter investigation.

It is reported that:

On Monday, September 12, 2022, at approximately 1:14 a.m., the Saint John Police responded to a break and enter at a business on Thorne Avenue.  

It was discovered that the building had been broken into and two new high value bicycles were stolen; a black and chrome NORCO OPTIC C AXS M29 and a green and copper NORCO SHORE A PARK M27. 

A suspect vehicle was located in the area and failed to stop for police. The vehicle was pursued by police and the pursuit was subsequently terminated.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2022, the suspect vehicle was located abandoned on the Kingston Peninsula and seized by police. The stolen bicycles have not been located.
