Update Residential Break and Enter

As the result of an ongoing investigation, the Saint John Police Force Forensics Unit, through evidence collection and analysis, have successful identified a suspect in relation to a break and enter at a home in south end Saint John. It was reported that:

-On Wednesday, September 8,2021, at approximately 7:52am, patrol officers with the Saint John Police Force responded to a residential break and enter on Wentworth Street. 

-When officers arrived on scene, the homeowner described items stolen from her residence. A short time later, officers responding to another call in the uptown area located and arrested a 23-year-old woman for a breach of court order.

-Upon searching the woman, officers located items believed to be stolen from the break and enter on Wentworth Street.

-As a result, the woman was also arrested for possession of stolen property.

-A 23-year-old woman appeared in court on Thursday, September 9, 2021, to answer to a failure to comply with conditions on a judge’s release order and was released.

A 23-year-old woman will reappear in court April, 2022, to answer to a charge of break and enter.
