Vehicles Damaged in the South End

On Monday evening, October 4, 2021, at approximately 9:52 p.m., officers on patrol with the Saint John Police Force witnessed an erratic driver in the south end. It was reported that:

-A pick-up truck, driving at high rates of speed, collided with several parked vehicles.

-The pick-up truck is located a short time later with two men fleeing from the vehicle.

-Following a brief foot chase, two men were taken into custody.  

A 21-year-old man appeared in court on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, answering to several charges including dangerous driving, failure to stop and failure to comply with an undertaking. Several NB Motor Vehicle Act infractions were also issued. Tayden Coleman did not enter a plea to the charges and remains in custody pending a bail hearing on Thursday, October 7, 2021.  

Investigators ask any witnesses or anyone in the south end area at the time the incident took place on Monday, October 5, 2021, between 9:52-10:10 p.m., that may have dash-cam or video surveillance, to contact 648-3333.
