City beginning removal of various street fixtures in preparation for winter months

The City is gearing up for the winter season by initiating the removal of various street fixtures beginning October 28.

Details:

  • University Avenue: Temporary bike lane bollards will be removed to ensure safe and efficient snow removal during the winter months.
  • King Street West and Water Street: Ornamental flowerpots will be removed to protect them from harsh winter conditions and to facilitate street maintenance.

Traffic may be reduced to one lane during the removal process. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers. Delays should be expected.
