This year, Monday July 6th, 2026, marks the 10th annual Canadian Injury Prevention Day; a day to raise awareness about preventable injuries and aid Canadians to live long lives to the fullest through education and advocacy. The City is trialing a new program for residents to request the City’s programmable “SAINT JOHN” sign be lit up in recognition of community celebrations, awareness campaigns, and civic occasions.
