Community feedback needed: University Avenue traffic safety and active transportation

The City of Saint John is seeking community feedback on a plan to improve traffic safety and access to active transportation on University Avenue.

A lane reduction, the addition of dedicated bike lanes and signalized crosswalks, and the relocation of a transit shelter are included as part of the plan.  A virtual community meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday April 28, 2021 to review and discuss the current plan for the avenue.

How to get involved: Community members who wish to participate in this meeting are asked to pre-register by sending an e-mail to feedback@saintjohn.ca by 4:30 p.m., on Monday April 26.  A meeting request will be e-mailed to registered participants.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, but want to stay informed, the meeting will be recorded and can be accessed via the City's YouTube channel. Feedback can be sent following the presentation to the feedback@saintjohn.ca email address.
