By-Law Number C.P. 111-174 A Law to Amend the Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider giving third reading to the bylaw entitled, “By-Law Number C.P. 111-174 A Law to Amend the Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John” at its meeting of September 16, 2024.

The proposed amendment to the Zoning By-Law is related to amendments to the Mini-Home Park Residential (RP) Zone to support a proposed development at 3600 Westfield Road and 3630 Westfield Road and to assist other similar future developments. Proposed revisions to the RP Zone will permit compatible commercial uses and will also incorporate regulations currently established in the City’s Mobile Home Parks By-Law related to application requirements, servicing, landscaping and amenity space.

In accordance with the Local Governance Act, the bylaw will be read in summary only, if no member of Council objects.
