Proposed Municipal Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendment RE: 1461 Manawagonish Road

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider an amendment to the Municipal Development Plan at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers on Monday September 19, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., by:

  1. Redesignating on Schedule A of the Municipal Development Plan, land having an approximate area of 0.25 hectares, located at 1461 Manawagonish Road, also identified as PID 00397539, from Regional Retail Centre to Stable Area, as illustrated below.
  1. Redesignating on Schedule B of the Municipal Development Plan, land having an approximate area of 0.25 hectares, located at 1461 Manawagonish Road, also identified as PID 00397539, from Regional Retail Centre, to Stable Residential, as illustrated below.
  1. Rezoning a parcel of land having an area of approximately 0.25 hectares, located at 1461 Manawagonish Road, also identified as PID 00397539, from Commercial Corridor (CC) to Mid-Rise Residential (RM) as illustrated below.

REASON FOR CHANGE:

To permit a residential development.
