Reminder: Where do I find my garbage and compost schedule?

The City of Saint John would like to remind residents that garbage and compost collection schedules are available online through the Fundy Regional Service Commission website under the "My Schedule" section of fundyrecycles.com

Customers are reminded to place their compost carts with the lid opening towards the street and the wheels toward your home to support automated collection technology. Thanks to this technology, there is no longer a need to place objects at the bottom of carts to elevate bags for garbage collection crews. All contents inside compost and garbage carts will be disposed. All carts (compost or otherwise) should not be secured in any way.

The City of Saint John does not collect electronics as part of the solid waste collection service. Electronic products contain recoverable resources that are recyclable and should not be in the landfill. If these items are placed curbside with regular garbage, City crews will tag them as a notice/reminder and leave them behind for proper disposal. To find out what and where to recycle, enter the item into the "What Goes Where" section of fundyrecycles.com

City crews appreciate the efforts of customers to facilitate the efficient collection of garbage and compost.
