Traffic Advisory: Permanent changes to Heather Way

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic pattern change that will begin October 2 on Heather Way. This work is necessary to complete the Heather Way Road Diet as part of the Traffic Safety Improvement Plan.

Starting Wednesday, October 2, all traffic on Heather Way will be required to use the two lanes on the east side of the median, which will be converted to two-way traffic. Once barriers and signage are installed, the traffic pattern change will remain permanently with the two southbound lanes closed and the two northbound lanes will be two-way traffic.

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
