The national Light It Up! For NDEAM is a one night, co-ordinated awareness lighting event that recognizes and celebrates the valuable contributions that people with disabilities make to businesses and our communities. It happens every year on the third Thursday of October and the sign will be lit up in purple in recognition.
Light It Up! For NDEAM is more than a lighting event - it has evolved into a national movement that sparks conversation about disability inclusion between community-based employment service agencies and local businesses, in cities and towns across Canada.
