Join in the 2025 Celebration of Unity and Diversity on Canadian Multiculturalism Day

On Friday, June 27, 2025, Saint John will come together to celebrate the diverse cultural communities that shape our city and Canada’s identity. 

The day begins with an official flag-raising ceremony at 1:00 pm in front of City Hall, 15 Market Square. Following this, three vibrant locations will host a variety of music, games, and cultural experiences. Everyone is encouraged to wear traditional clothing to showcase their heritage.

  1. PRUDE Inc., 1 Market Square, Unit W301 (3rd Floor), 11:00 am - 1:00 pm 
  2. Saint John Newcomers Centre, Market Square Atrium, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm 
  3. YMCA Newcomer Connections, 191 Churchill Blvd., 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm 

On June 27, take the opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity that enriches Canada and reaffirm your commitment to equity, inclusion, and mutual respect. Join YMCA Newcomer Connections, Saint John Newcomers Centre and PRUDE Inc. in fostering a strong and inclusive community. 

The City of Saint John invites everyone to participate in this meaningful celebration, embracing the richness that multiculturalism brings to our city.
