Apply Now: P.R.O. Kids Fall 2026 Applications Are Open

The P.R.O. Kids online portal is now accepting applications for Fall 2026 activities beginning between September 1 and December 31.

Positive Recreation Opportunities for Kids (P.R.O. Kids) is a charitable program operated by the City of Saint John that helps eligible children and youth (ages 2–18) participate in the sports, recreation, arts, and cultural programs they love. Support is available for a wide range of activities, from hockey, volleyball, swimming, and football to martial arts, dance, cheerleading, horseback riding, rock climbing, visual arts, theatre, and music lessons.

Families who meet the income threshold can receive financial support toward program registration fees.

Parents and guardians can submit applications directly through the P.R.O. Kids platform on the City’s website. The deadline for Fall 2026 is Saturday, August 15, and funding is provided on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

To date, P.R.O. Kids has supported more than 20,000 children across Greater Saint John. For details on program updates and the 2026 application process, visit the P.R.O. Kids information page.

P.R.O. Kids is a confidential service available to families in Saint John, Grand Bay‑Westfield, Quispamsis, and Rothesay who meet the income criteria. All administrative costs are covered by participating municipalities, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly toward helping local children participate in meaningful, enriching activities.
