City of Saint John hosting information session for new online bidding platform

The City of Saint John is pleased to announce that it will be transitioning its procurement processes to a new online bidding platform in order to streamline and modernize the bidding processes for suppliers, contractors and consultants.

The platform, supported by a company called bids&tenders, enhances the City’s bidding processes, making it more efficient and user-friendly. The site allows users to view a list of all current bid opportunities and submit and edit their bids online.

To support the launch of the new platform, the City is inviting all interested suppliers, contractors and consultants to attend an information session, either in person or online, on Wednesday, June 19 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ADT. A representative from bids&tenders will walk participants through the platform, including how to find bid opportunities, register for an account, submit and edit their bids, and more.

Registration is required for the information session for online attendees and can be done HERE.

For anyone attending the information session in person, it will take place on the second floor of City Hall, 15 Market Square, Saint John. Attendees are asked to enter through the Customer Service Centre inside the main front entrance of City Hall.
