Effective today, June 30, 2021, the City of Saint John has updated both its public Emergency Notification System and E-notification System for residents to receive municipal alerts, news and information. The launch of the new systems coincides with the recent launch of the improved City of Saint John website.

The new systems include two separate subscription options - one for emergency advisories and alerts, and one for City news and information.

Emergency alerts are distributed through an email, voice and or text notification system by the Saint John Emergency Management Organization and City of Saint John to broadly communicate urgent public safety notices.

The E-notification system allows residents to stay informed on the latest news, information and updates through regular emails from the City of Saint John.

All residents, including those who were previously signed up in the former systems, will need to subscribe to the new systems. Sign up is easy and can be done by visiting www.saintjohn.ca
