Left-turn restriction removed

Left turn restriction on Reversing Falls bridge to be removed Thursday

The City of Saint John advises motorists that the weekday left‑turn restriction for vehicles traveling eastbound over the Reversing Falls Bridge will be removed effective Thursday.

Beginning Thursday morning, drivers will once again be permitted to turn left onto Douglas Avenue at all times of day. The restriction, previously in place during weekday peak hours, was implemented to help manage traffic flow during periods of higher congestion.

With the restriction now lifted, all motorists may resume regular turning movements at the intersection.

The City thanks residents, commuters, and nearby businesses for their cooperation throughout the temporary traffic management measure.
