In Memoriam

The City of Saint John is deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of a member of our City family, Jeff Ermen. 

Jeff joined the City’s Public Works team as a skilled worker in 2019. He always came to work with a big smile, ready to tackle the day, and make everyone else’s day a bit brighter at the same time. Even at the busiest of times, Jeff was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand and go above and beyond for his team. 

We mourn Jeff’s loss and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends, and will long remember the joy he brought to everyone around him. 

In honour of Jeff’s passing, City flags will be lowered to half-mast on Friday, May 27, 2022.
