Public notice of potential event street closure uptown on October 29, 2022

The City of Saint John advises the public that a special event application is currently being considered for the following streets to be closed to motor vehicle traffic between 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 and 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 30.

  • Grannan Street: from Germain Street to Canterbury Street
  • Canterbury Street: from King Street to Princess Street

While the event is underway, the streets and sidewalks will remain open and accessible to all pedestrians.

As part of the street closure application process, the event organizer has attempted to notify businesses and residents in the immediate area that would be affected by the street closures.

If you have any feedback or questions, or if you require a special accommodation due to the closures, please email the City of Saint John, viagreg.cutler@saintjohn.ca, by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 24.
