Regular excess garbage collection requirements to resume on October 16

With solid waste collection services now being delivered at full capacity, the City advises residents that regular garbage collection requirements will be back in effect beginning Monday, October 16.

As part of the regular collection requirements, garbage bag limits will be back in place. This means that any garbage bags in excess of what fits in garbage carts, or that don’t have Urban Bag Tags affixed to them, need be placed curbside with an Excess Refuse (green) Garbage Bag Tag attached.

The requirement for bag tags was temporarily suspended while the City experienced delays in garbage collection.
