Snow clearing efforts continue throughout the City following winter storm

Winter is here and the City Public Works crews are hard at work with a full snow clearing effort after yesterday's significant snowfall. Their efforts are focused and continuous, based on priority routes. We thank the public for their understanding and patience as we work around-the-clock to clear all areas across the City. For information on priority routes, visit www.saintjohn.ca/winter

With rain on the way, the next few days are critical for our collective snow clearing efforts. Residents can help and are encouraged to continue to park off street when possible and follow parking restrictions.  Clearing catch basins and drains around your property is also important.

For safety reasons, we ask that you keep children away from snowbanks near the roads and sidewalks where plows are operating.

We thank you for your cooperation as our public works team continues to clear the streets and sidewalks.
