Temporary no parking and road closure on Winona Avenue for infrastructure repairs

The City of Saint John advises residents and motorists that no parking permitted on Winona Avenue on May 28, 2026, due to emergency infrastructure repairs.

During this time, no parking will be permitted on Winona Avenue, and the road will be closed at the intersection of Goderich Street and Winona Avenue. Vehicle access to the area will be restricted for the duration of the work.

The repairs are scheduled to be completed by 12:00 a.m. on May 29, 2026.

Pedestrian access to homes on Winona Avenue will be maintained throughout the project. Barricades and signage will be in place to clearly mark the restricted area.

Residents are encouraged to use alternative on-street parking on nearby streets, including:

• Goderich Street
• Wright Street
• Seely Street

All motorists are reminded to comply with posted parking signage.
