Traffic Advisory: Germain Street

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will occur on Tuesday, March 31 on Germain Street.  This closure is necessary to ensure the safe and successful completion of crane lifting operations.

Street: Germain Street

Specific area: Grannan Street and King Street

Date: March 31, 2026

Duration: One (1) day

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Direction: Northbound

Action: Closed to through traffic. A detour route will be indicated.

Description of work: Crane lift operations

Traffic control personnel will be on site. Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
