Tuesday March 18 is Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day

On Tuesday, March 18, we recognise the Saint John Transit team for the vital role they play to keep Saint John moving.

•    In 2024, our team provided over 2,177,000 passenger trips across 1,700,000 kilometres and more than 101,000 service hours.
•    Our skilled mechanics, maintenance staff and cleaners manage and maintain a fleet of 40 conventional buses, six electric buses and six specialized service vehicles.
•    Our team provides training, operations, supervisory, dispatch, financial services and administrative support to maintenance staff and operators.

This day of recognition honours everyone who supports this vital service across Saint John.
