NB Southern Railway to temporarily close Manchester Avenue April 30

On behalf of NB Southern Railway, please be advised they will be conducting work on the railroad bridge on Manchester Avenue in Saint John, New Brunswick, beginning Thursday, April 30 at 7:00 a.m.

As a result, Manchester Avenue will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 7:00 a.m. on April 30 until 7:00 a.m. on May 1. A detour will be in effect via Gault Road for the duration of the closure.

Traffic control personnel and appropriate signage will be on site to guide motorists and pedestrians. This temporary closure is necessary to safely complete the required track upgrades.
