In 2025, the City of Saint John completed an evaluation of community services. Based on the findings, Common Council approved recommendations aimed at improving programs and service offerings in East Saint John.
Working together with the community, City staff will develop a plan that:
- represents a community-led approach to programs and services;
- addresses barriers such as affordability and accessibility to services;
- improves awareness and engagement;
- supports service providers to build collaboration, capacity and sustainability
