Changes to solid waste collection schedules for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

City of Saint John solid waste customers are advised of the following changes to regular collection schedules for December 24 and December 25, 2023.

Solid Waste customers in the following areas will not have their recyclables collected on Christmas Eve nor garbage and compost collected on Christmas Day:

• Millidgeville Area– Center
• Millidgeville Area – West
• Boars Head Rd Area
• University Ave / Sussex Drive Area
• Pokiok Road / Tartan Street Area

 Instead, solid waste customers in these areas should:

• Place RECYCLABLES curbside by 10:30pm on Friday, December 22nd.
• Place GARBAGE & COMPOST curbside by 7:30am on Saturday, December 23rd.
