Changes to solid waste collection schedules for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

City of Saint John solid waste customers are advised of the following changes to regular collection schedules for December 24 and December 25, 2024.

Solid Waste customers in the following areas will not have their garbage and compost collected for evening collection on Christmas Eve and day collection for Christmas Day:

• WATERLOO VILLAGE
• MILFORD-RANDOLPH
• MAIN STREET WEST
• GREENDALE
• WESTMORLAND HEIGHTS

Instead, solid waste customers in these areas should:

Place garbage and compost curbside by 7:30am on Saturday, December 28th.

SOUTH CENTRAL PENINSULA:

Instead, solid waste customers in these areas should:

Place garbage and compost curbside by 10:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23rd.

No changes to solid waste collection for Boxing Day (December 26), New Years Eve (December 31), and New Years Day (January 1).
