City’s Ethnocultural Support Program to now be offered annually

The City of Saint John is excited to announce that funding through the Ethnocultural Grant Program will now be offered permanently  each year following the success of a pilot project launched in 2021-2022.

The grant program supports the City’s focus on being one of the most welcoming communities in Canada and will provide financial or in-kind support for either the establishment or further development of ethnocultural community groups in Saint John. This can include but is not limited to:

  • Incorporation fees
  • Name search
  • Completing Terms of Reference
  • Establishing a board of directors
  • Purchasing cheques and office materials
  • Expenses for website creation and hosting
  • Graphic design for logo production
  • Support for creating a social media platform
  • Promotion or advertising to attract new members

Applications are now being accepted, with a deadline of September 30, or until all available funding has been allocated.
