Department of Transportation and Infrastructure announces summer lane closures near Saint John Harbour Bridge

The City of Saint John has been notified that the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is advising the public of one-lane closures on approaches to the Saint John Harbour Bridge beginning June 8th and continuing until August 3rd, 2026, to allow paving and other rehabilitation work at this location.

Delays are expected, and motorists are encouraged to plan for extra travel time in the area throughout the construction period. DTI thanks the public for its patience as work continues to improve this key transportation corridor through Saint John.
