Fallsview Park and Fallsview Avenue Reopen After Improvements

The City of Saint John is pleased to announce that Fallsview Avenue, Gregory Place, and Fallsview Park have reopened to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic following the completion of major reconstruction work.

This project renewed aging infrastructure along the corridor, including full street reconstruction, upgraded sidewalks, and the addition of a new Harbour Passage multi use trail extension. The work also included improved stormwater systems, with new Harbour Passage lighting and tree plantings scheduled for installation in the coming weeks to create a more connected, accessible, and welcoming public space.

With construction now complete, all access through Fallsview Avenue and Gregory Place has been restored, and Fallsview Park is once again open for public use. Minor construction activities will continue in the area as final touches are completed, but the park and surrounding streets remain fully open to residents and visitors. The City appreciates the continued patience of the community as this work is wrapped up.
