Little River Reservoir Detour

Detour route at Little River Reservoir trail due to construction

A temporary detour will be in place on the trail at Little River Reservoir from May 14 to 16, 2025, to facilitate essential watershed maintenance.

Equipment and barricades will be removed during evening and early morning hours to accommodate walkers.

Signage and barricades will be installed to guide trail users. Please proceed with caution and be aware of workers and equipment in the area.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period of improvement.

Little River Reservoir, referred to locally as “The Res,” is located in the city’s east side off of Loch Lomond Road. The district park is home to a freshwater beach surrounded by a 1.6 km walking and biking trail, and it features a playground structure and an off-leash dog park.
