Important Update on Rockwood Park Trail System

The City of Saint John is committed to enhancing the trail system within Rockwood Park. While some trails currently extend onto private property, these will be rerouted this Spring/Summer to ensure all trails remain within city-owned land. This initiative aims to promote and improve facilities and infrastructure on our own property.

In the coming months, new trail maps will be issued, and work will commence to adjust portions of the trails. We kindly ask all Rockwood Park trail users to respect private property and adhere to the appropriate signage.

These changes will specifically affect the Carnage Trail, a challenging black diamond trail along the park's northern edge, and Deer Trax, a short connector trail between Moose Trax and Carnage. The rerouting will remove sections of these trails that are not within Rockwood Park.
