By-Law Number LG-22 A By-Law respecting Clearance and Removal of Snow and Ice from the Public Streets in the City of Saint John

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider giving third reading to the bylaw entitled, “By-Law Number LG-22 A By-Law respecting Clearance and Removal of Snow and Ice from the Public Streets in the City of Saint John” at its meeting of November 27, 2023.

The proposed By-Law (LG-22) will repeal and replace “By-Law Number M-26 A By-Law relating to the Clearance and Removal of Snow and Ice from the Public Streets in The City of Saint John.” The by-law amendment clarifies requirements for citizens as it relates to removal of ice and snow and the public right-of-way and includes provisions for Administrative Penalties.

In accordance with the Local Governance Act, the bylaw will be read in summary only, if no member of Council objects.
