Payment service update

Beginning today, January 4, 2021, the City of Saint John is once again accepting debit and credit payments. Please see the below summary of payment options for our various service:

Saint John Water payments can be made through the customer’s bank, through pre-authorized payments, via telephone (506-658-4455) or in-person by cheque, cash, debit or credit at the Customer Service Centre on the 1st floor of City Hall. Customers must present their bill when paying in person.

Parking ticket payments can be paid via telephone (506-658-4455) or in-person by cheque, cash, debit or credit at the Customer Service Centre on the 1st floor of City Hall. Customers must present their ticket when paying in person. Late payments or penalty increases will not be charged as of November 13, 2020 and until further notice.

On-street parking payments can be made at the parking metre machines or through the HotSpot parking application. This application is hosted by a third-party vendor.

Monthly parking payments can be made through the HotSpot parking application. This application is hosted by a third-party vendor. If you are unable to pay through the Hotspot app then payment can be made by cheque, cash, debit or credit in-person at the Customer Service Centre on the 1st floor of City Hall.

One-Stop Development Shop development permits and payments can be paid in-person by cheque, cash, debit or credit at the One-Stop Development Shop front counter on the 1st floor of City Hall. All inquiries to the One-Stop Development Shop can be addressed through the Customer Service Centre by calling (506) 658-4455.
