We are deeply sorry to share that a tragic incident occurred early this morning involving a Saint John Transit vehicle and a pedestrian. Our thoughts are with the individual’s family and loved ones during this very difficult time. Incidents like this are difficult for our entire community.

The Saint John Police Force is on scene, and the City of Saint John is cooperating fully as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Out of respect for those affected, and to ensure we do not interfere with the active investigation, no further information is available at this time.
