Traffic Advisory: City Road and Station Street

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will begin on Thursday, September 11 on City Road and Station Street.  This closure is necessary to complete road repairs and reconstruction in the area.

Street: City Road and Station Street

Specific area: City Road between Garden Street and Haymarket Square, and Station Street between Garden Street and Smythe Street.

Date: September 11, 2025

Duration: Two (2) weeks

Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Traffic reduced to one lane.

Description of work: Asphalt resurfacing

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
