Traffic Advisory: Multiculturism Day Parade

The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will occur on Water Street. This closure is necessary to allow for pedestrian and motorist safety during the Multiculturism Day Parade.

Traffic detours will be in place for motorists and pedestrians. 

Street: Water Street

Specific area: Between Duke Street and Market Square

Date: June 27, 2026

Duration: One (1) day

Time: 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Direction: In both directions.

Action: Closed to through traffic. 

Description of work: Event

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of parade participants.
