West FLEX Zone Expansion

On Monday August 12, FLEX West service will expand to include stops on Sand Cove Road west of Bleury Street.

Service in the new area will run Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:50 pm. The service will not run on Saturday.

New stops will be marked with green FLEX signage. The locations are:

• 920 Sand Cove Road
• 940 Sand Cove Road
• Sand Cove / Lilac Lane
• Sand Cove / Driftwood Lane
• Maritime Opportunity Center

Saint John Transit has added another vehicle to the West zone to ensure consistent service in the zone.

FLEX service offers riders a much more flexible approach to transit service. FLEX service does not operate on a fixed route or schedule. It operates within a zone. Riders download an app to use on their phones or tablets or call a dispatcher at 506-652-3539 (FLEX) to schedule a ride. 

Riders can travel from stop to stop within the zone, or transfer at common stops on fixed routes in the zone. The app or the dispatcher will let the rider know when to meet the bus at the requested stop.
