Organizing a street event can be a daunting task, and you’ll want to ensure you have all pieces in place during the organizing and implementation. If this is your first time hosting a large event, or the scope/location has changed for you, be sure to review these helpful tips. If you would like to meet with City staff for a pre-application review, contact email@example.com and we’d be happy to help.
Street events must be reviewed by our Special Events Task Force and approvals may take up to 16 weeks.
Do not advertise or promote your event until you get preliminary approval from the special events office.
