Commercial Facade Rehabilitation Award

2023 Heritage Awards acknowledge significant contributions to heritage conservation in Saint John

The 2023 Heritage Awards were announced at last night’s Common Council meeting to property owners and tradespeople who have made significant contributions to the conservation of our City’s heritage buildings over the past year. Presented by the Heritage Development Board, this year’s award winners represent projects that include rehabilitated façades such brick and stone recovery, window repairs, refreshed colour selections and more.

“I am proud to recognize the recipients of this year’s Heritage Awards. Their passion and dedication to preserving and restoring the character and defining elements of our rich historic architecture and craftmanship truly reflects the character of our small city, with a big heart,” says Mayor Donna Reardon. “These individuals and organizations have demonstrated the importance of valuing our past, contributing to our pride of place, and ensuring that the buildings and homes that shaped us remain available for future generations.”
