Residential Zone Parking Permit

Apply for Residential Zone Parking Permit for May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027

Residents can now apply for and purchase their annual residential parking permits for the 2026–2027 season through the HotSpot website or app, or in person at the City Hall Customer Service Centre during regular business hours, beginning today, Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Residents can manage their permits entirely through the HotSpot platform, including purchasing, updating information, and accessing permit details.

All residents must reapply each year by submitting valid vehicle registration and proof of residency showing their name and Uptown address. Please note that permits cannot be renewed if there are any outstanding parking tickets on file.

Residential parking enforcement is carried out using a licence plate recognition (LPR) scanning system, which means no physical permit is required.

Visit the City’s website to learn more about the residential parking permits and get answers to frequently asked questions.
