Cancellation notice: Canada Day fireworks rescheduled due to expected inclement weather

The City of Saint John wishes to notify the public that the Canada Day fireworks scheduled for Saturday, July 1 at 10:15 p.m. have been rescheduled due to the forecasted rain and potential thunderstorms this weekend.

The City is pleased to announce that the fireworks have been rescheduled and will be included as part of New Brunswick Day celebrations in August. More details will be provided closer to the date.

Canada Day Waterfront Festival activities will still be taking place from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 1 at the Container Village on Water Street. The public is invited to come out and enjoy free, family-friendly activities include face painting, circus school, buskers, arts and crafts, prizes and so much more.
